Jason & Cara Hibbs started Oh, Little Rabbit as a hobby and creative outlet at the beginning of 2010. When they first opened, they were printing out of a hallway coat closet in their one-bedroom apartment. Over the following year and a half, Oh, Little Rabbit began to grow but unfortunately the Hiibbs' coat closet did not. Needing to make a decision, they took a leap of faith, quit our jobs and devoted all of our time and attention towards Oh, Little Rabbit.
Their product line is a reflection of the things they enjoy and would want to have in their own home. They love the idea of practical art; a piece that can be displayed and visually enjoyed, as well as earn its keep on the oven bar as the best dish drying flour sack towel around. Oh Little Rabbit uses organic and recycled materials whenever possible and only use nontoxic water based inks.
They draw every image, print every piece by hand and package every order.
Why the name "Oh Little Rabbit"? It was an old Russian saying that was used in Cara's family growing up. It is comparable to "Oh my goodness," or "Oh my lord."
